Merry Christmas from The LITTLE Art Studio.

Guest Artists

The Studio would like to thank all the guest artists featured in 2011. We will not be hosting a guest artist this month due to renovations, which should be over by early December.

Enquires for being a guest artist at the studio in 2012 will be taken from early in the new year. The first available spot is in April.

Renovations

As mentioned earlier, the studio is undergoing a small facelift. The front of the gallery area is being replaced with a huge window, offering better visual access. The interior, apart from having the centre wall cut down, is receiving a fresh coat of paint and having a new and improved hanging system installed.

Until Friday, December 23 2011, all paintings and sketches by LeesaB will have BIG DISCOUNTS on the original prices.

It is hard to believe The LITTLE Art Studio is gearing up for Christmas, which is only eight weeks away! Artist in Residence, LeesaB, has been working hard for this months display, which can be found on facebook.

 Guest Artist

The LITTLE Art Studio’s guest artist this month is realism artist Carry Smith. Carry’s beautiful oil and acrylic paintings are a ‘needs to be seen’ experience, because photographs do not do these artworks justice.

New Guest Artists

The studio is pleased to say we have guest artists from now through to March 2012. However, let us know if you would like to display your work, because as you know life does not always run smoothly and there is a chance that someone may not be able to make their date and you could be the one to save the day, well … the month!  Contact The LITTLE Art Studio for information.

 Scarlett’s Delight

Now on display at The LITTLE Art Studio is the gorgeous hand-made semi-precious and glass beaded jewellery from Scarlett’s Delight. This fabulous jewellery is also available at Gossips Wine Bar, located on the 3^rd floor at Toowong Village, along with great coffee and delicious cake!

A very BIG thank-you to everyone who has supported The LITTLE Art Studio’s first three months. We continue to have a steady stream of visitors coming in to view the work of our very talented local artists.

Guest Artist

The LITTLE Art Studio’s guest artist this month is Toowong local, PAM, who loves to experiment with her art and the colourful display at the studio features pieces in acrylic, ink and mixed media. PAM has had work displayed in a number of Brisbane outlets.

The LITTLE Art Studio has enjoyed a busy second month of operation with a number of groups and casual drop-ins calling in to view our colourful offerings.

Guest Artist - The LITTLE Art Studio’s guest this month is local art teacher and artist, Gill Simpson. Gill has an art-teaching career spanning 25 years in the states of South Australia and Queensland. Studying over the years under Jacqueline Hick, Ian Smith and Joe Airo-farulla, Gill’s art direction has moved from landscapes to more personal, figurative, expressive paintings where the main concern is with colour, form and textured backgrounds.

 Remember, if you or someone you know is looking for a friendly place to display their work, contact The LITTLE Art Studio. We only have the following spot available for your display, either as a full calendar month or as a two-week block within November 2011. The LITTLE Art Studio’s first month began with a successful launch attended by family and friends and has enjoyed continued support from the local community.

Guest Artist - The LITTLE Art Studio is proud to introduce its inaugural guest artist, CooH from the Sunshine Coast. CooH’s artwork features original acrylic canvases in beautiful soft hues, limited edition oil-pastel abstract prints, and limited edition prints of original acrylic paintings.
