Spring has sprung
Spring
is a fabulous time of year in Queensland, with trees sprouting lush green
leaves and flowers blooming with beautiful colours, sending out exotic scents
(sorry to anyone who suffers hay-feverL) and the
temperature is perfect for days on end.
It is a
time to be like nature and get motivated to produce some wonderful works of
art.
That
being said, the first two months of spring are going to be a hectic frazzle for
our artist-in-residence who will be working on her new pieces before taking off
to exciting holiday destinations.
Part (A)
of the frazzle is that LeesaB has only just finished The Alphabet series she
began in April and so only has a couple of new works available for this month.
There will be (or so it is rumoured) a number of new canvases done by the end
of October.
Part (B)
of the frazzle is because the studio will have a couple of weeks (the last one
in September and the first one in October) where it will open only sporadically.
This actually begins with the usual third weekend opening for September, which
has been reduced to Sunday only.
Carry
Smith, a past guest artist, will be caretaking the studio during this time. Carry
will have a few of her new works on display mid-September and would love to see
you: however there may be times within our usual open hours that the studio
will be closed. Should you visit and find the studio closed, remember we will
be back to business as usual early OctoberJ
Guest
Artist
Due to
the possible patchy opening hours in September/October, the studio will not
have a guest artist display in either month, the feeling being that it would be
unfair to an artist that their works are not on view for a full month.

The LITTLE Art Studio is booked through December 2012 so if
you or someone you know are looking for a friendly place to display your
